The Internet as a resource for older people.
There is a whole demographic whom, with the passage of time in some ways have become dispossesed of the
means to communicate. The evolution of the English language and the increased use of acronyms and slang
make it harder for older people to understand and communicate with newer generations.
This will eventually lead to isolation and in some cases loneliness. In other cases those who embrace the new
reality and technologies will find themselves empowered and at an advantage over their peers who may not
have grasped these new opportunities.
This website is dedicated to those people who do ‘ want in ‘ and who want to make an effort to understand how
it can be of use to them.
